This is a very excellent game with a lot of content in it to make any fan of the original Jak & Daxter a proud owner of the game. The first one followed the life of Jak & Daxter, i don't even know what type of animal to call them, they look like weasels or somethin. I have no clue. But let's get into th review. Gameplay has certainlt improved, and you can definitely tell. With all the new moves. With the inclusion of the new Dark Jak, when you collect enough dark orbs of sort, you have the option to turn into Dark Jak. A more powerful, more into melee combat Jak. Than the original, sane, gun totin Jak we all know. But we can't forget about Jak's sidekick, Daxter. As you all know, Daxter was transformed into some sort of, animal, another one i cannot place. And he is still in that form. There are vehicle sections in the game now, and they are loads of fun to play. Graphics, they have improved over the original, with a lot of good shadowing, also since the inclusion of Dark Jak, you see little purple spraks flying from Jak's body as you perform moves, or just when you're standing. Audio is as good as ever. Jak can speak now, which is sort of like the GTA thing, the character in the first game couldn't speak for himself, and now in the sequel (prequel for GTA) he has a voice now. He sounds very mean and grumpy, well, i would too if i spent two years being tortured and being experimented on by your worst enemy. Value, it's a very good and inganging game with qualities that rival that of Ratchet & Clank. Reviewer's Tilt, good game. Can't really say anything bad about it, except it gets boring after a while once u beat the game.
If you liked the first jak and daxter game, you'll absolutely love the smash hit sequel and positively the best in the series! The gameplay is bit similar with the different styles of attacks and movement to the first... Read Full Review
