Our favourite secret agent is taking on the video game world in his first gamecube debut. In this game you take control of the Pierce Brosnan Bond and are trying to take down an evil villain who is taking advantage of cloning and politics. The game play extraordinarily like a Bond film, with all the twists and turns they should have. Any Bond fan will love this, mainly due to its relation with the movies, all the Q gadgets are included. Q-Dart gun, Q-Watch, Q-Card, Q-Grappling hook and many more. There are also a wide variety of weaponry to use, the traditional Walther P2K, the terrorist Ak-47, the overly destructive RPG and even the humble Dart gun. All this combined with hidden tasks within well designed levels make for an interesting play through each one. Graphics may not be absolutely revolutionary, making the new Q look like a chicken and all the guards identical, but it delivers the goods accordingly. Invisible walls are still a problem, although many games still have them, it is still a problem as the levels may be well designed but are very small and limited. The story mode is pretty solid, with three difficulty settings, hidden tasks, collectibles and multiplayer unlockables, there is plenty to do. And as for said multiplayer, it is very entertaining. You play the traditional matches between 4 players. And if you have no one to play with, there are always bots with variable AI levels so you are never too challenged. There are plenty of maps, some with elements taken from single player, some completely new, including all the gadgets and weapons mentioned before. With the great multiplayer with a huge single player, this makes for a great 007 game, although, it still doesn't feel completely right, I can't think of what it is, but it's there.
