The Best Bond game yet

User Rating: 8.9 | James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing PS2
Of the 3 Bond console games I've played (EON, Nightfire and From Russia with Love), this game is the best of the bunch. It has everything and is the closest to a Bond movie. It has a good plot, memorable characters, voiceovers, gameplay, graphics. It's the best Bond game yet.

First off, the game (which is in third person) plays like a movie, starting with the teaser (also a tutorial), excellent opening credits and theme song. Then the game starts and there are around 27 levels to complete before the closing credits roll. There are a variety of missions - besides the blasting kinds, there are also some stealth missions, a free fall mission (very hard for me). Lots of driving and action missions, with mix of difficulty levels. Another good point on the game are the stars and actors/actresses who play the main characters. Besides Brosnan as Bond, they also got Willem Defoe for the villian (good job), Shannon Elizabeth (not as good but decent) and Heidi Klum as the girls. Even the real M and Q lent their voices & likenesses to the game as well as Jaws (Richard Kiel). The plot was good (for a video game) and with almost 30 missions (twice as long as the other 2 Bond games I've played), was involved, with some twists and turns, like a movie. The sound, graphics and dialogue are great and insync with each other.

Btw, with Brosnan not playing Bond in the new Casino Royale movie, EON was his last appearance as Bond. I hope he comes back as Bond in the future but if not, it was a great last outing for him as Bond.

There really isn't much I could comment on improving the game - sometimes, Brosnan's dialogue sounded a little flat. Other than that minor nit, it's great. Now that its been out for 2+ years, you can probably pick it up cheap in the used games (or new) games section. If you like shooters and/or a Bond fan, get this game. You won't regret it.
