Metal Gearish atmosphere with mindblowing action!
Because the game didn't cost me much, I didn't except anything big of it. After playing a few rounds through, I realized one simple fact: This one is a pearl. You ask, what makes me think like this? What about astonishing gameplay, movie-loyal graphics and intensive sound experience?
The story is very Bondish, very usual. A new mass weapon is being developed and surprise, who's gonna take care of it! It's very clear that the story isn't the main aspect of the game, it is being the Bond and run from action to action. It's like you're in a movie while you play the game. It fascinated me a lot, evn though I've never been a great fan of 007.
Level design is very important when it comes to action games. You know, the game can be boring if you just run through corridors and shoot ordinary thugs with your weapon. Everything or Nothing offers joyfully many different stages, from the usual sneakin' and stealthin' missions to driving missions and even to flying missions. It's great!
The graphics and sounds are very loyal to the movies, which of course happens because of the same actors and accurate textures. It keeps up the atmosphere, which, of course, keeps up the interest through-out the game.
Negative points? Well, I think it's the usual camera. It messes up sometimes your view, which is pretty frustrating at times. This isn't THAT big a problem, so it doesn't ruin the game.
The fun doesn't end after you've finished with the main story. After completing the game, you can also play a few bonus games which kept me playing for a few days, since I always wanted to get a better score. I'm not gonna spoil and tell you guys what kind of bonus games it has...
So, final words, eh? This is game is a definate must buy for me. I found the game VERY entertaining, and if you can find the game for as cheap as I did, it really is worth it.
Shaken, not stirred.
