The second best game in the series.

User Rating: 8 | James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing GC
Everything or Nothing is, as previously stated, an epic adventure. Once again using Pierce Brosnan as James Bond this game delivers more than all previous games (other than N64's Goldeneye).

A step away from the usual first person brings Everything or Nothing into a much different, and in many ways much more interesting, third person mode. In previous games third person was only done in cars and on things such as climbing across ropes. Now, the entire game has been put in that perspective. I prefer third person to first person, and that opinion will causes me to be biased on several issues.

There are a number of new additions to the game, several of which are created by the third person view. For the first time players can press up against walls making it easier for them to aim and fire without being hit. This is a great addition because the enemies are quite a bit more intelligent.

Also added are melee attacks, which is both a good and a bad thing. It's good because you can grab, kick, and throw enemies, as well as wield everyday objects such as bottles and crowbars! It's bad because your enemies can also use melee attacks. Instead of the usual array of normal guns they now wield everything from crowbars to rocket launchers. Though from that perspective co-op mode is more fun. Your enemies are much better equipped.

Also added are a number of gadgets and a wonderful addition known as "Bond Sense," in which time is slowed and weapons can be changed, as well as items and enemies located and analyzed. Some of the added gadgets are the Q-spider, Nano suit, and various sorts of grenades.

The downside is: the main game is too easy. The final boss is taken down with one rocket, and a rocket launcher as well as extra ammo can be found right outside the door.

There are some semi-hard sections, but nothing that will take more than five minutes to complete. And then the multiplayer co-op is ridiculously difficult, so it doesn't really even out. There's the insanely easy main game, and the extremely difficult co-op game.

On to Gamespot's rating system:

Gameplay: Could be more difficult, and the co-op could be easier. Otherwise, the gameplay is the best in the series (but not as intense as Goldeneye's, so it remains ranked number 2).

Graphics: Great, some of the best of 2004. There are no complaints from me other than the fact that there's no blood, because that would have made it look cooler.

Sound: No complaints, everything sounds very realistic. Not perfect, but very good, and the voice acting is well-done.

Value: With a very easy game it has little replay value (though getting the cheats by unlocking platinum medals could make it last a little bit longer) and the co-op mode just gets you killed far too often. Though beating/blowing up so many enemies is still fun. The versus mode is completely worthless.

Tilt: It deserves an 8.0 at the very least, value dropped it quite a bit, thus the fairly high tilt.

It's a good game, but it doesn't take very long to complete and the multiplayer isn't really worth coming back to. I think it's very fun, but it's not amazing.
