OK, I basically had enough cash to buy a game and it was a toss-up between this (James Bond: Everything or Nothing or Deus EX). To start off, I've played and owned most of the James Bond games over the last 6 years, from Goldeneye on the N64 to Nightfire on the PS2 last year. To sum up.......Everything or Nothing has superb graphics (apart from the cut scenes which are just 'OK'), great sound, great driving levels / sections and some excellent voice acting. Where this game really, really lets itself down is in 2 areas. 1. The auto lock on targetting system Yeh, love it or hate it. I hated it - with a vengeance. When the enemies are far away from you it rocks....but just wait until you get 4 of them rush you in a tight spot and then try and recover. Basically, Bond has to FACE the enemy you wish to target before he can attack. This means that if you are rushed from behind, then you have to turn around and then target the enemy. Add to this the fact that sometimes the lock on targetting simply doesnt register there is an enemy in range (this happens when u are hiding behind walls ready to duck out) and.......in sniper mode with the sniper gun, I've had instances where I have lined up a perfect shot, and the guy didnt drop or even register a hit - despite me hitting him 5 times. 2. OK, the old favourite - Savepoints. Don't these people playtest these games or something?? This game has got to be one of the worst for save points. One the earlier levels its not too bad because the levels are fairly short and easy....but on the later, harder levels you are basically looking at 30 - 40 mins of work, and when you die you are back at the beginning of the level again (for those that have played it I'm talking specifically here about the level where you have to destroy the 4 machines that are producing the nanobots). Basically, because of the poor targeting system and restarting from the beginning of the levels, I got so angry at this game I just wanted to chuck my Xbox out the window. Instead I took it back to the shop, got a credit and bought Deus EX I.W. instead (which has its own set of problems hehe). Anyway.........to sum it up. Looks nice Sounds nice Driving / motorbike sections work well Save points SUCK big time Targetting system SUCKS big time I have enough stress in my life without being irritated by a game :)

That's what I thought as I was playing this game. Not only that but it seems an obvious choice. Stop with the first person shooter and let this man get to the forefront. They do that, and it turned out pretty well. I... Read Full Review
