almost!

User Rating: 8.7 | James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing PS2
Most of the other 007 games have been in first-person mode. This is the first one to deviate from the path to a third-person movie-like feel. Just in the first level, you feel like you are controlling a movie.

Amongst being a solid game, it has an all star cast. Pierce Brosnan comes back to play 007. John Cleese is available as Q. Dame Judy Dench is back as M. Newcomers Shannon Elizabeth, Mya, Richard Kiel, Willem Dafoe, and Heidi Klum play their various roles with character models that look an awfully lot like them. It helps to make the game feel even more like a movie.

The levels are designed with the basic mission based objectives. You have to destroy targets, rescue women and agents, sneak into bases, escape the enemies, and other various interesting tasks. To do this, you have an arsenal of weapons at your disposal. Not including the vehicles, you have your basic pistols/handguns, machine guns, dart guns, sniper rifles, rocket lanuchers, spyders (creatures that can sneak up on enemies, gappling gun, and explosive coins. The vehicles include driving an Aston Martin, Vanquish, motorcycles, tanks, helicopters, and pickups trucks.

The aiming is one of the difficult parts of the game. You have to be at a good angle to lock-on to a target. You can hide behind walls, boxes, and objects by sidling or ducking. Locking onto a target does not mean you automatically hit them. You can move the cursor around a little to hit the target.

The hand fighting has also been improved. You can get up to an enemy and wail on them. You can punch, kick, knee, and throw you enemies around as long as you are in range.

In terms of the multiplayer, the game offers the option to go through missions with two people. The split screen takes te viewing window down but you can still manage it. The one missing element in the multiplayer mode is that you cannot setup a multiplayer game with only bots like the other 007 games.

Other than the targeting being a little off and the minor multiplayer issue, the game is solid.
