Great game !..
James Cameron's Avatar The Game
Although the game doesn't follow the story line of Cameron's Movie,
It will show some spoilers towards the movie. So i recommend you go see the film first, as it will only make you appetite bigger for the game.
If not the game is still fun to play.^^
In Avatar you set foot in the amazing world of Pandora,
Where you have to chose if you either defend the planet as the Na'Vi
Or Conquer it as the human RDA soldiers.
The game itself,
Is surprisingly good !
Althought gamespot gives it 5.5 , i disagree.
I'm giving avatar 8/10.
You chose your character from several options ,
Play short bit as human & Na'Vi ,
And then you have the choice to follow the Na'Vi story line or RDA.
It's nice you play as both,
Avatar is a third person shooter , Although the Na'vi have the ability of Melee Combat , Wich is great, Cause it's allways fun to toss around your giant mace or dual wield blades^^.
Also you got some special powers, Such as a fast sprint, summon a creature, healing yourself, etc...
Gameplay is smooth , Pandora's environment is stunning,
And the graphics are Amazing!
You can free roam all around the world of Pandora ,
Fly the sky on mighty beasts, and Roam the grounds on wicked horses^^
And other mystical creatures.
As Na'Vi that is =)
RDA soldiers ride Buggy's , robots etc..
A bad thingy is sometimes the camera views , Boring cut scenes,and the many death's of the Na'Vi , But finding different samples of the plants and tree's of pandora grant you revival ability.
I enjoyed James Cameron's Avatar,
And i recommend you play it ,
If you don't buy it , Rent it for sure!
