good graphics, good gameplay, good game!!

User Rating: 8.5 | James Cameron's Avatar: The Game WII
I got this game yesterday, and I fell in love with it completely, I don't know why.. wether it's the charming visuals or the great control scheme, it just instantly appealed to me... lets start the review properly

Gameplay:
This game's gameplay is a slash/shoot em up that takes place in the breathtaking land of pandora... the gameplay mainly comprises of three aspects, the Nav'i (if that's how you spell it) which is controlled extremely well (you're swings of the wii mote are amazingly responsive), and then there's the use of the peripherals (wii motion plus and the balance board) for the Banshee flight and the wasp thing, the only thing that's wrong with the gameplay is the remote jiggles, cause it starts to get repetitive after about 3 levels...

Music:
this game's sound is overall very basic and they re-use most lines of dialog and music, when you see an enemy the Nav'i just says "Danger close by". and the Dialog for the enemies isn't much better as all they say is stuff like "We got the freak-show" and "we scared him off". I think this is the worst part of the game

Graphics:
the graphics in this game are phenomenal, even on the Standard definition mode. Pandora is recreated in this game with such realism and beauty you might actually think that you're there. Also the textures and particle effects work well and when flying on the banshee you get a whole new perspective of the world. but even though most aspects of the graphics department are great, the human characters (especially in cutscenes) are blocky and unrealistic, even for a wii game they're poor, but if you overlook that it is an amazingly vibrant game

good points
>easy to learn controls
>very responsive controls
>beautiful graphics
>lots of variety in levels

bad points
>poor human animations
>too much Wiimote jiggling

Overall I'd recommend this to anyone that like's the movie
