In this Mother of All Flight Sims you get to fly top-notch fighters from all over the worlds spanning 40 years of aerial conflict. Although its not as realistic as Jane's says it is an extremely fun to play game. Its suited with useful tools such as the Pro and Quick mission designers, making it possible to wage your own wars in many places around the world. Some of the locations include Iraq, Persian Gulf, Baltic, Egypt, France, Falklands and the Far East. Its only downside is outdated graphics but its Toolkit which can be downloaded off the net provides an opportunity to update its sound, graphics and units.
Although this game was released in '97 it is still being modified and supported by some fans on the internet. FA futures is an upcoming patch (mod) which is designed to extensively enhance realism, Video and Audio effects in the game. it is to be release some time in late 2007. no wonder FA still lives...
