One of the DOS classics, if there is 1 game from the DOS era you should own, this is it

User Rating: 10 | Jazz Jackrabbit PC
Jazz Jackrabbit, as you probably already know, is a Side-Scrolling shooter starring a green rabbit, who has to save the beloved princess Eva Earlong from Devan Shell. There are also 2 christmas episodes to blast your way through as well which are both stand-alone and freeware which can be found on most shareware/freeware sites. The graphics are very colourful and cartoony, which, while not impressive in this day and age, look rather nice in DOSbox with openGL or surface renderer and a nice high resoloution.

The game itself is pretty straight-forward, blasting whatever poses a threat and whatnot, but there are also some cleverly hidden secrets too. The game gets the right mix of Sonic's speed, Mario's platforming genius and some nice gunplay in there as well as some nice music and sound effects, a winning combination

Gameplay:10 brilliant platforming action
Graphics:10 nice and colourful, look sweet in DOSbox
Sound:10 memorable music and nice sound effects
Value 10 with 9 episodes and 2 freeware chrismas episodes, you won't put this down in a hurry
