Though not as good as Bejeweled 2, Jewel Quest will nonetheless serve up enough entertainment to justify its worth.
But this game isn’t easy. The first section or two may prove to be a breeze for the average to experienced gamer, but once those later levels begin to appear, your every skill will be pushed rigorously as the game nears its climax. The main reason for this is that every board and stage in the game is timed, making the tension to solve these puzzles heart pounding.
Simple, fun and addictive, Jewel Quest is worth the 800 Microsoft Points price tag. The only question you need to ask yourself in preparation to buy this game is: do you like Bejeweled? If you do, then you’ll feel right at home. If you also like the tension found in games like Zuma, then you’ll feel even more comfortable with Jewel Quest.
