The pluses certainly outweigh the minuses with this game. To start with the game is very realistic. Even down to having real John Deere farm equiptment. The charactors are great and feel like real country people. The help menu is the best I have ever seen in a game. It makes leaning the game fast and easy. There are several great missions to play along with 3 different free play farms.

Some tips for thegame. Start with livestock rather than crops. The startup cost for livestock is much more manageable. When you do get your livestock use the expensive feed and feed them often. This will fatten the animals up more. You sell the animals by the pound so the fatter the better. The hog barn is an amazing value. You can raise 1000 hogs in it and it's cost is reasonable. YOu should wait a little before investing in dairy cattle. When they mature you can milk them and sell the milk. WHile this provides a great steady income it does take a while for them to mature and they need to be milked several tims before you see a good return on the investment.
