Its one of those games that dont come out often.
You can play between many players. There are over 20 characters and they all play the same, but they feel different in ways. They all look crazy and cute in their own ways. They dance when they arent being played as, and it is fun to see them dance.
The whole story of the game is simple and not so great. There is so much fun and objectives you have to do that overpower the story, which is a good thing.
The graphics in jet set radio are amazing. They are cell shaded graphics to near perfection. The city scapes are all different and huge in size and variety. The characters are detailed very nicely. The graffiti in jet set radio is amazingly well done. The graffiti is split up into sizes, small, medium, large, or extra large, offering about 50 for each size. Overall the game is amazing.
The gameplay in jet set radio shines. You do moves that are very simple to do but look very fun and are always different. You do chain combos by grinding on rails, walls, doing moves, and tagging while doing them. The levels all have their poles and curves to give a lot of variety to the fun.
You have to tag graffiti in various places in each area. They are hard to find, but they arent impossible. There are hidden acts you can do that are nearly impossible to do, but you can figure it out.
The sound in jet set radio is perfect for the game. There is a mix of techno, rap, and rock in the background music that are all appropriate and fun to listen to in the game. The characters all have their grunts and sayings during moves. The game has no flaws in sound.
Overall jet set radio is a very unusual game that doesnt come a lot. It does defeat its predecessor vastly. This game should not be missed and is a must have.
