Not much substance, but you get to kill dinosaurs!
One area that suffers is the limited paths of the environment, its all VERY linear. You will NOT get lost.
Took me about 6-7 hours of game play to wreck it, and I am not by any means a great FPS shooter. So it is definitely leaning on the easy side, though I did find myself in a few challenges that took a bit of time to complete.
There are a few scenes in the adventure where you are holding down a fort, much like the nazi zombies in Call of Duty W.a.W. you must repair openings and fend off oncoming attacks. These scenes always got my heart pumping and proved to be the biggest challenge of the game.
The story is goofy and its not very important, its there, but not overpowering or intrusive. The voice acting, especially by the main character is pretty bad. Its a cross between Christian Bale's batman --and your grandpa while hes taking a dump.
Another complaint I have is the enemies get a little ridiculous. With so many species of dinosaurs to work from, did they really need to have giant scorpions as an enemy? Also there is a spitting dinosaur that spits lava/fire at you... which is....lame.
If Jurassic: The Hunted is something you are considering buying, I wouldnt recommenced paying full price for this game (50-60$). I picked it up off eBay for 25$ and I think that's a fair price.
Although this game lacks in a few areas, at its core its not too bad. Overall I enjoyed it. I have a soft spot for dinosaurs and with not much out there in the Jurassic genre, I am happy to have it my collection.
