A huge improvment from the prequel.
The demo gives you 30 minutes of free roaming through 35 square kilometers of desert, which is not much, as the full game boasts a stunning 300 kilometers (squared of course) of urban, desert and jungle landscape.
Rico can carry 3 weapons, 2 single handed weapons(whcih can be dual weilded in any combonation) and a 2 handed weapon (A rifle or something like that). He also boasts a glove-like device on his left hand, which allows him to shoot a grappling hook, which is as fun as it sounds. Every building and sold object can be grappeled onto. He also carries a reloadable stunt parachute, reloadable meaning that it can be deployed anytime, even after having been opened moments before.
Story mission are unlocked by earning "Chaos points", which are obtaing by destroying government buildings. These include generators, fuel depots, and even cranes. Needless to say, the explosive addicts will enjoy every second of this.
All up, I enjoyed the demo, which I downloaded via Steam, and the download was around 1.3 gigabytes.
I recommend this game to anyone who like Farcry, or the GTA series.
