San Andreas. Even though it has recieved much slagging off on the version I have, the PS2 version, it is still a fantastic game. The graphics are great, the controls are amazing and the gameplay is even better. You start off your San Espirito campaign jumping from a plane and onto the beach to help your 'boss'. You must kill everyone there, then climb onto an on-board machine gun and take out your attackers. After you complete this, your first mission, you are free to explore the land. 250,000 acres of jungle and cities. 23 times bigger than San Andreas. The views from the nearby lighthouse are magnificent. It just looks stunning. Anyway, you have an infinite parachute, and after the third mission where you must jack a limo and destroy it in anyway possible way, infinite grappling hook which you can use to hook onto any vehicle and take control of it. By the way, you have only 21 main storyline missions to complete and over 300- very repetitive side missions. But you can approach ANY mission in ANY way. And having this to your advantage really helps. I gave Just Cause a 9.1 for just 2 reasons. One, the lengh of the main storyline is ridiculasly short. And two, the amount of bugs/glitches in the game is also ridiculas. I had only been playing for 20mins when i turned round a corner to see a car half-stuck in the ground. And, on two occasions, the game had frozen complety, meaning I had to restart the PS2. But on too many occasions, I had died for absaloutly no reason at all. Weather its getting out of a stationary car, or grappling onto a boat, I died for it. Anyhow, best PS2 game of the year...by far. Very highly recommended.
I just got this game for my PlayStation2 and it is absolutely incredible!! It is like being in a Antonio Banderas action movie! The graphics are so brilliant for a free roaming game!! The sound machine is fun too!! Lots ... Read Full Review
