Don't judge until you've played it!
Gameplay:
Despite its cheesy storyline, wacked out language, and surprisingly simple retro-color graphics, this game is addicting. The sheer simplicity of the game is what drives one to play further, wondering exactly HOW BIG can you make your katamari. You soon discover that skyscrapers aren't very high anymore.
Graphics:
Simplistic but allows the game to run very smoothly under almost all conditions. Amusement can be derived just from how people, animals, and many other common objects are portrayed in the game.
Sound:
One of the strangest parts of the game is the music. In the opening scene, you will wonder whether or not you have taken acid before playing the game, as ducks and elephants dance under a rainbow singing the theme song. The sounds from the assortment of animals and humans you can gather, along with buildings, are an excellent part of the game.
Value:
Considering how this game is so cheap, whether you love sports games or rpg's, this game is a definite buy. It will keep you entertained for well over 10 hours, and for $20-$30, not much else for that price has the same lasting duration. Furthermore, if you smoke weed and like looking at pretty colors, this is also the game for you.
