I admit it. I love Katamari Damacy.
Why am I so obsessed? Because the game is that unique, and it's that good. You are "the Prince", a cute little oblong fellow whose crazy father ("the King") orders you to recreate the stars in the sky.
How do you do that? Well, you use both analog sticks in tandem to direct the rolling of a ball of stuff. That ball picks up other items that are smaller than it, in turn increasing in size so you can pick up larger things. At first you're picking up thumbtacks and soy sauce packets, but before you know it you're picking up islands and bears and bicycles and more and more...
The soundtrack is catchy and the King's diatribes are classic. The only areas that could have been improved were that there were some camera positioning/graphics glitches occasionally, and the storyline was a little short. For a bargain title, this is amazing!
