I love adventure games but do get frustrated not knowing which way to go next. I always end up going to the cheats and .... spoiling my game. With the hint system, it keeps you going and gives you a rush to know you're heading in the right direction ON YOUR OWN. Also, the hints with the puzzles are great. Just enough to get you started, but not enough to give you the answer ... unless you want it to. You do end up going around in a lot of circles in the beginning trying to get from one spot to the next, but once you're into the game, you can pretty much figure out the short cuts. I'd like to see this kind of hint system on all adventure games, but then I guess it would put the people who do the walkthroughs out of business!
