Being one of the earliest Playstation game it sure must have been top notch too. It came out early 1995, and today not many knows about it since it did not get so known I guess. Either way it's an unique pleasure to look at. Okay the plot is, you're a mech, and you are to blast away some alien baddies, sometimes surrounded by them and sometimes not, either way, they are not the worst thing that can happen to you, in my opinion at least. What is worst is that you can get empty battery, and then you are finished. Game Over. The maps are fully texture-mapped with awesome environments you could never dream of in 1995. The hi res textures and some mapping makes it look as if it was much newer than it really is. However it fails when it comes to gameplay, just like many other awesome-looking games. The problem does not lie in the meeting of baddies or so, it rather lies in the lack of different-looking rooms in the maps - everything looks the same. Some complainted about the controls, but for me it did more than fine. So if you are into Mech kind of games, and the old skool type, then this may be something for you! Overall 8.7/10
