This is a must have as a Fighting Fan...

This game was one of the top fighter games all over the USA for a long time. This game stood out because it was (And still is) the only game where you could pull of a series of serious combos of unbelieved hits and counts. I mean, when was the last time you played a fighter game that allowed you to pull off a 30 hit combo just using normal hits and techniques???

Plus, this game takes the show when it came to finishing moves. No other game has ever come close to making the ULTIMATE finishers like Killer Instinct. I mean, there were fatalities, but there was also the Ultra Combo which is the ULTIMATE prize to see when you want to finish your opponent off.

And the stages, some of the stages (Especially the Sky stages) are what separated the other games by comparison to the other 2D stages I have seen. When was the last time you played a fighter that allowed you to knock out your opponent off the stage and seeing your opponent SPLAT against the hard ground.

This is a game that NEEDS to be remember by any fighter fan. I myself have put this game to heart and memory, and still catch myself actually playing this game from time to time.
