Killzone killed the competition-star

User Rating: 9.5 | Killzone 2 PS3
As you start playing this game, you automatically feel the awesomeness when you hear the voice of Visari. The intro kills you with anxiety of what will come next.

.As you start PLAYING the game, you will be surely amazed by the great graphics and detail of your surroundings. The facial movements and lip syncing of your team mates is very good indeed. But that's nothing compared to when you face epic battles. you feel like you're part of it and have that sense of survival going on through your mind. the in game graphics are more immersing than cut-scenes, but you won't give much importance when you're fully into the game. graphics are 10/10 for sure.

. Gameplay strengthens the feeling of "being IN the game", facing the battles, and feeling like you're part of a big brotherhood facing evil. The controls could be a bit more swift and faster, which is what happens in multiplayer due to constant close combat, but managing your ISA or Helghast weapon makes you feel really powerful. 9/10

. As you play through the game one thing you'll notice is that sound is as important as graphics. You hear the explosions and shooting from a long distance, and if you have a good sound equipment you'll have the best experience in any first person shooter, kinda like call of duty finest hour, only ten times more epic and outstanding. real "snap" moments will occur from time to time, but ,in general, the sound is 9.5/10.

.The Story- well i can't say much of course but even if you are looking for a great story based game and you won't find it here, the content of the game will keep you amused for a great deal of time, not like MW2, which I thrown to the shelf after a week or so. You'll have hours of fun completing the game several times, due to high replayability values and trophies, and the awesome multiplayer.

Overall 9.5/10

Trust me: this IS the best fps of 2009
