The best shooter you will ever play this year.
Graphics 10/10- The first thing that stands out right from the start of this game is its amazing graphics. The Mission settings are very detailed and they stand out from any other graphics in any other game. The first time you relize that this game will be amazing is its opening Cut Scene. When the ISA first lands on Helghast Soil, The explosions, the bullets flying, and the camera angles screams awesomness.
Controls 9/10- The controls are very familiar to any other average FPS player, if you play Call of Duty or Resistance you will feel at home. The only thing that kept the controls from getting a perfect 10 is its switched controls. R3 is aim and L1 is melee, this problem is minor and it you get used to it fairly fast. Another thing that is annoying is that the motion controls feel somewhat rushed. instead of moving nice and steaady moving is somewhat akward, your player moves more like tank than the average player in a Call of Duty game. but again, its minor, and you get used to it.
Story 6/10- The story and characters are incredibly forgettable and it just gets in the way of gameplay. its not a huge cinematic story with and intersting story its just kind of there. if you havnt played the original Killzone you wont even know what the Helghast and the ISA are going to war over. so its not a bad story, but its nothing special.
Online 10/10- The online is Intense and addicting and will keep the disc in your PS3. although the lack of Maps can be annoying it makes up for the incredible Map size. there can be up to 32 players per game which is plenty for these large maps. the main online game that i always play is Body Count where teams can either play as the Helghast or the ISA and play an intense Team Deathmatch. This is the most addicting addition to the whole game. so play at your own risk. YOUVE BEEN WARNED.
