Surpasses its predecessors!
However, a friend convinced me to try it, and man, I'm glad I did. This was an almost perfect FPS. The graphic was absolutely gorgeous, the game play was a little faster paced than a second, the weapons are brutal, the models are extremely detailed.
AI is great, occasionally you see the enemy using tactics such as rolling on the ground to get to covers and shooting blindly from their covers which provided a challenge for a FPS lover.
The game did a good job making you feel like you are carrying a heavy weapon, unlike COD series, and when you shoot an enemy, you see blood exploding powerfully, which added more realism to the combat.
The game was criticized for its story, which I found was unreasonable. I think the story was fine, it was interesting to see how events unfold.
The only very minor problem I have with the game is the frequent cutscenes. At the beginning levels it sometimes get in the way of the action, which prevented the game from getting repetitive if done right. However, these cutscenes are skippable.
In the end, KZ3 was a near perfect FPS, it was a shame I had not try the multiplayer (which I would do when I get home), the game provided great action, amazing graphic, interesting story line, and a combat mechanic that is, in my opinion, was unrivaled.
