Can Killzone make a successful game onto the much needed shooting genre for the psp?

First off, right when i popped in the game, I immediately noticed the the stunning graphics. The game graphic wise is amazing- probably the best visuals for the psp. The story comes 2 months after the first Killzone. Your'e still stuck in the war, playing as Jan Templar. I won't give to much away about the story but your'e main objective is to rescue your team mates and eliminate the Helghast.
Moving along... the game has an interesting 3rd person birds eye view. It is a "3rd person dungeon crawler" so to speak. (The view is exactly similar to Dungeon Siege games.) After a few minutes within playing I quickly adjusted to the view and acutally hope more games will try this. You have a great view of the battlefield and can see textures on buildings. Also, the landscape is well set up. The game is pretty linear therefore its not an open battlefield. Most of the time you'll be force to take one way to get to your destination.
The missions have a lot of variety in them consisting of destroy this, rescue them, kill him, ect. ect. The game always feels fresh and rarely get's repetitive. Note: this game is also challenging. Challenging enough that you will die a few times before getting to a checkpoint. It is a trial-and-error game in which using new tactics throughout the levels is necessary for completing the levels.
In some levels you will be able to control different vehicles like tanks. Isn't blowing up the Helghast with a tank so much fun? The multilayer is really fun and can choose from different modes such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch Duel, Capture the Flag and Assault. IGN gave the game "the best offline multiplayer for the psp award" Which is great, but that's the problem, it only supports ad-hoc capabilities. NO infrastructure options which really does wreak, but overall, this game is amazing with visual flair, intriguing plot, and addicting gameplay. A must buy for any fan of the shooting or Killzone genre.
