I went into KZ Shadow Fall with mixed expectations. It really is a solid game. The thing that stands out the most is your little robot thing that you can use to shoot enemies, Disable electornics, Make a shield, or as a zipline. It makes the levels more dynamic that other Killzones.
Even with that being said, i feel this might be one of the weaker killzones. There are 10 chapters...and they are all pretty long. There isnt a big variety of enemies, but gun fights are intense. The story is hard to get into and it just feels rushed. There aren't any good boss fights either. There really was only one traditional boss fight.
The game does feature some really varied mission types. Sometimes your infiltrating, other times your teaming up with an AI controlled character, giving her targets to snipe. Then your sniping for her and helping her to get to objectives. I thought the game was a cliffhanger. It is one, but not in the way I orginally thought. Overall I like this game, but i dont love it like i did KZ2.....even KZ 3 was better. You should pick this game up for its campaign. Its decent.
