Not a Halo killer, but definatly a game PS2 owners should be proud to have.
The graphics are very impressive, they compete with xbox graphics. The art design is amazing, and the Helghast are the coolest looking enemys I have seen in a shooter. Yeah, there are some very minor glitches, but nothing that makes you think "DUDE WTF!? THIS GAME SUXZORZ!", your reaction is more like "Lol...", a slight chuckle.
The Sound is pretty good. This, IMO, is the worst part of the game. Yeah, the sound tracks are very well put together, but the voice overs and the little lines the NPC's say are pretty annoying at times. But thankfully you have an abundence of ammo to shut these guys up.
Gameplay is close to freakin amazing. Its a little loose at first, it was hard to control. So all i had to do was lower the sensetivity for the analog and I was good to go, and I havnt had any complaints since. I love the multiplayer, its fun, and has many modes to keep you interested for a while.
While the Single Player compaign can get a little repetitive, it is nothing short of fun. The first few levels, the first 4 to be exact, are, so far, the worst that I have played. It will start to pick up and it will be a little more than just mowing down Helghast, wave after wave. The story is pretty good too, cant really say much more considering I have not beaten it yet.
I would whole heartedly recommend this game for any FPS fan, you will not regret it.
