This game, don't get me wrong is fully a functional game. But thats about it. The campaign has a predictable story. Enemies aren't smart, but relentless. There's no reason to play as anyone but Rico(assuming you're that far in the game), and it suffers from plenty of glitches. The multiplayer does fair better than the single player does assuming your doing it online. The split screen portion with bots is average. There's nothing here you wouldn't get with any other game with bots except for a bunch of shiny heads and some red eyes. For example by changing the difficulty from normal to hard you have only given our mentally challenged friends a more powerful gun and a bigger life bar. If there's is anything you can say for this game its that it looks great. I mean its nothing jaw dropping like metal gear solid 3, but it does fair better than most games on the PS2. But then again this does cause the ps2 to choke as if some shoved a 2x4 down its neck, here are just a few. Sometimes the ISA rifle doesn't make noise when you fire it. All you here is the shells falling on the ground. The most common of theese glitches its when the lower half of the enemies vanishes out of site, leaving you to fight a mentally disabled hovering torso. The story starts out with some promise, then falls flat on its face. In a nutshell, mutated people from another planet come and invade earth. Its up to you to drive them back. Hmm, how does that remind me of a 1950's movie? Oh, yes because its the same thing. With that said killzone is the same junk the companies have put out through this console cycle. For any of you PS2 fans who finally thought you would get a halo, keep looking. Theres no real reason to waste your money with it, unless your a die-hard FPS fan. The only way I would suggest this game is if your xbox controller broke after beating halo for the hundredth time. Other than that theres no real reason to play this game.
This game is not a Halo 1 killer, however it is a super fabulous fps, with an awesome story.... Graphics don't make a game, but they help in Killzone. Overall, this game has better graphics than Halo 2! That is my opi... Read Full Review
