Not worth the hype but still a somewhat fun game.

A halo beater? I don't think so. But there are some worthy mentions about this game. The graphics are better-than-average in detail. This of coarse in offline. In online the graphics are choppy. Whes somebody next to you throws a grenade, The gun simply dissapears into thin air this his hand still in the position of holding a gun. When you see somebody els take out another gun you don't see him cock it it simply changes. Single-player is fun at times though. It's true that some of the levels can get repetative but they're still well built. The cocking, reloading and grenade throwing sequences are way to slow and much to overly-animated. Plus, the enemies are extremely hard to kill. At times you'll have to empty an entire clip to simply kill the basic enemy. This is basically assurance that you'll aim for their head, wich only takes about 3 shots instead of 20 or so to kill.

The sounds is quite good with average voice acting. Guerilla definently put more work into their hype than they did into the game. All the elements of this game are phenominal with the exeption of...

The gameplay.
