Killzone is a pretty good game. The problem with this game is that it had so many things going for it and it ended up being just your pretty much, everyday FPS. There is really nothing special about this game when it comes to gameplay. If you have ever played and FPS before then you can play this game. The problem with the gameplay in Killzone is the shooting, some times it can be fun and sometimes it can be plain boring. It's also pretty hard to target your enemies because the the analog control just feels too slippery and it's pretty hard to get used to. The graphics and sound are easily the high point of this game. The graphics in Killzone are some of the best you can find on the PS2 and it also pushes the PS2 to the limit which has it's consequences. The framerate can slow down at times making the game pretty laggy in large fights. Although I didn't really find no problems with the sound,it's still not the best I've heard but it gets you into the game. Sometimes the game can be dead silent and then other times it can get really loud with explotions and gunshots but when it comes down to it, gameplay always matters and Killzone is not so great in the gameplay side of things. Still, if you want a good shooter for the PS2 this is one to get but don't be suprised if you get a little bored with Killzone because it's just a pretty average game with some good things going for it.
