Killzone is your typical post apocalyptic war game but with some extra added features. The story is well thought out and the maps are pretty cool too. Sound is great but the controls could be a little more loose for my taste. Multiplayer is what really got me putting all the hours I have into this game. Normally choosing to side with the side of evil (evil is always more fun) you have several maps to choose from and if you play these first then play the story I find it makes it a lot easier to move around the first time you do a mission. Also in the single player mode you can choose from 4 different characters, all with their own special skills and weapons of choice. So to sum it up, Killzone is a great game to own but be prepared for slight aggravation with the maneuverability, especially when sprinting. Buy it, try it, if you don't like it, fry it.
