Let me just say that Killzone is a very enjoyable game that is about as close to the Halo experience on the Xbox you can get for the PS2 although Killzone does not destroy the competition in the (FPS) First Person Shooter genre. The AI in Killzone is among the shortlists of greats. You throw a grenade at the enemy known as the Helghast and they run for cover but with the enemy in this game being only the Helghast with no variations it can get a little repetitive gunning them down level after level. This then brings me on to the subject of level designs and I personally think the stages used in Killzone are some of the best offering plenty of variations. If you looking for yet another solid FPS game then you can’t go far wrong with Killzone but on the bases of it being very repetitive I think it’s a title that should be rented first as I can see many people becoming rather bored of this game after a while playing it.
