Wow, this is mediocre? Wow - just wow.

I've got to say that I'm not a huge fan of FPS on consoles, however, I've tried and tested quite a number of them in hope that I'll stumble onto one that gives me hope that FPS on consoles can be satisfying. When I viewed the reviews for this game on several game sites - and most were mediocre to say the least - I decided to put this one on the back burner for one of those "l got no games to play" days... BIG mistake!
I can talk on and on about the art style, the creative story line (oh may goodness. I couldn't put the damned thing down for the first 3hrs. I just had to know what happens next.), the effort put into tring to make it's replayability longer than usual, it's more than decent online mode ... it's opening cut scene speech (just got to love that speech) but I just won't be able to convey how impressive this game is. I've heard a lot of negative things about it's frame rate and pseudo choppy mechanics and while these things do exist, they in no way hinder the actual gamplay - which in my opinion, is glorious.
This game got me hopeful for the future of FPS on consoles.
It's been a while since I've seen a game get such an overly off the mark rating (I mean GS rating of 6.9 is just outrageously wrong, IMHO) and I'm kind of upset that most reviewers did this one an injustice 'cause if not for the lukewarm reviews, I would have picked this game up on day one - GET THIS GAME! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.
