I like both Halo 2 and Killzone for separate reasons of course. Halo 2 is fast-paced and a lot of fun to play. Killzone is also a lot of fun to play. Halo 2 is kind of cartoonish while Killzone has more of a realistic tone to it. I like the sound fx of Killzone more than the sounds of Halo 2. Grunts of humans are more realistic than grunts of aliens. I like Halo 2 but Killzone is more fun to play. Everything in Killzone is near perfect. The sounds are great everything from the weapons to the voice acting. I like the sounds of the enemies when you kill them as well. The opening movie gets your blood pumping to play the game. The opening battle is great, too. It's trench warfare but its in the future. I agree with the score given by PSM. They gave the game a 9.5 out of 10. I think there is a lot fun to be had with this game. With the ability to switch characters in between missions gives the game a lot of replay value. In addition to the characters branching story lines. The only real complaint I have is that the missions are little short. But, that's why there are sequels to improve upon the original. Believe me Killzone is a great fps for the ps2. I don't think kills Halo but it sure does have Halo running for cover. If you're skeptical go and rent it. Then you'll see what the hype is about.
