Great game, but no strategy.
The Good:
1. Beautiful Graphics, this game is one of the best looking of its kind out there.
2. The interactive story that lets you chose what path your going to take and how the tutorial is fully integrated into the quest and story is nice.
3. Extremely fun to play, great way of managing your kingdom, lots to do, easy and fast interface.
The Bad:
1. Well the graphics. There to demanding. I was able to run and play Dragon Age, fear 2, and Batman on high setting with no problems at all. This game tho when run at high it lagged greatly in some of the bigger battles and city battles, Even got a warning from my computer about overheating.
2. The story paths are great, but lacking all side quest feel the same, and most are. But the main problem is with your alignment. you can ether be good or bad, christian or old religion. there is no room for in between, not if you want to get the good units anyway. Meaning you cant really make the choices you want to if you plan on getting the better units.
3. My main problem with this game this is the Moral system in battles. so lets say you have 500 troops vs 50 well if them 50 troops get to these tactical spots then they can just sit there and win the battle if you don't go and get them off it. If that don't seem to bad to you, What this means is there is no time for tactics in this game, you cant take your time and set your army up the way you want to. Because with the moral in the game its like having a timer. I had a battle 600+ vs 600+ i got them down to 27 troops i had 350+ left, i had 1 tactical spot, they had 2. Guess who won? the 27 remaining troops, because my men where taking to long to kill them.
Over all i think its a great game, I like it a lot, but until the battle moral is fixed, or there is a mod to remove it. I'm going to keep away. If you don't mind being rushed then check this game out.
