Totally Awesome, Loved it all the way!!
Playing as Roxas, the game gives you an excellent insight to the time he was with the Organisation. Being an Interquel, it takes place after Kingdom Hearts and before Kingdom Hearts II.
If you haven't played any of the previous titled games, It would prove very difficult to understand the story line and/or characters, so you might want to explore the depth of kingdom hearts before immersing yourself into this installment of the series.
The story follows you (Roxas) and your best friends Axel and Xion, as you journey through an epic story and array of missions assinged for all of you. You'll be taken to many different worlds, on various occasions to fight heartless, bring down bosses and prove your ability overall. Along the way you'll meet a variety of your favourite known characters as well as new ones, that have a story of their own depending on where you visit.
One of the best things 358/2 Days brought to the table was the new "Panel System" A grid-like strategy in which you place panels you've earned into an empty slot. Some come in all shapes and sizes, and also with "Link Zones" t's an awesome way of customizing your gameplay to just the way you like it. Re-arrange all sorts of panels including weapons, magic, Abilities,Jewellery, levelling up tools, potions & recipes.
This game sticks to it's great battle system, An endless amount of bad guys to kill, with so many weapons and combos to try. Missions are just right in length, most of them a breeze and they don't drag, you'll enjoy the fun of all of them.
It does have it's boss battles, with Giant heartless and certain people, but they're never frustratingly hard, You can always figure out how to defeat them and if you need to level up or try a different approach, you can always train in previous missions or Mission mode.
As you progress, you learn more about the story between Sora, Rikku & Namine. And their connection to the characters present. It's so intriguing, you'll be hooked as soon as new things start to unravel. If you've ever wondered about cartain unexplained things such as who roxas really is,sora's nobody or piecing together his memories, this explains it.
Along with the story mode is Mission Mode, a solo or multiplayer gaming experience playing as yourself, organisation members or after unlocking them, classic characters ;) Playing mission mode earns you crowns in which you use to redeem goodies from your moogle.
Kingdom hearts will keep you occupied for at least a 40 hour minimum, and after the end, you can continue to level up, replay missions, challenges, buy new exclusive items and sought out new missions.
If your a KH fan, you've got to get this !!
This was an amazing game, I'll love it always!!
