User Rating: 10 | Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep PSP
Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep is a action RPG that takes place before the events of the very first Kingdom Hearts. Known as Kingdom Hearts Episode Zero in Japan according to Nomura. This game is truly not to be missed if you are a fan of the Kingdom Hearts series and has followed it til now this will not be disappointing and will be worth buying.

Gameplay:
With three different kinds of characters there is a wide variety of styles you can play as such as Aqua a magic specialist, Terra a physical person and Ventus whom American's all assumed as the past life of Roxas is balanced. Also their skills are customizable due to the new deck systems that allows you to choose the abilities that they can use. The Command System is also new, when the command gauge is filled and the requirements have been achieved. The command style of the character will change. Do it a second time then the character's skill will change to a higher command style. Also whenever you finished a world the Command Board shows up which can be accessed from save points and the world map once unlocked. Basically a command board is a board game and every world has its own command board and each are unique in their own way. Also the new Dimension Link (D-Link) is another new feature that allows you to summon allies and borrow their powers and abilities from different worlds but only for a short amount of time examples of these characters would be Experiment 626 aka Stitch, Aqua, Terra and Ventus and many more. Zack Fair will be showing up for this will be his only Kingdom Hearts game for which he will appear in as of now. Due to the fact he dies in the FFVII prequel. Also the crown stickers are making a come back from Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix which basically are puzzle pieces that you are trying to hunt down.

Multiplayer is also included and supports up to six players at a time. There are four new multiplayer modes, there is versus which is mainly your deathmatch kind of game. Rumble Racing is basically a race where you use your keyblade vehicles to race and you are allowed to attack your rivals in this game. Arena is basically survival where you co-operate with each other and defeat waves and waves of enemies coming at you. Command Board is basically a traditional board game reach the end first to win. Ad-Hoc is only available and no infrastructure play so your out of luck for international play.

Scenarios:
Due to the fact that there are three main characters available to play as. You have three different scenarios to play with. Each scenarios differs due to the character's personality and skills. After picking the person you wish to play as for your 1st scenario you can switch to another character for their scenario midway. Recommended that you pick the scenarios in this order Terra > Ventus and lastly Aqua. After beating the game once with my own order and playing it again with this recommended order I understand the story more playing this order then my own. So that gives you something to think about.
