Another solid entry in the Kingdom Hearts series! Somewhat repetitive, but is just as enjoyable as previous games.
Kingdom Hearts: BBS is a prequel to the Kingdom Hearts series and it tells the story of three young keyblade warriors. Each of the three heroes (Aqua, Ventus, and Terra) is seeking to become a keyblade master. And with any KH game, you play through multiple Disney worlds in hopes to uncover more of the story and increase your characters strength.
Each character has their own story, and in the end all of the stories intertwine as you play through the final mission in the game. Even though there are three different stories to play through they are very similar. You play through the same Disney worlds, and many of the missions are similar. That was my big issue with this game. There is a lot of repetitiveness. There are new Disney worlds never explored before in any other KH game, but when you paly through it three times, it's still repetitive.
The graphics are amazing. Square Enix, never fails when it comes to the technical aspects to a game. The graphics easily look like a PS2 game. The music is standard. Some of the music is recycled. The controls and gameplay are similar to older Kindgom Hearts games. It is an action RPG. (nothing new here) Your attacks and spells are in a deck, and after you use one of your moves the must be recharged before you can use them again. Its a little different from past games. As you increase your level you can put more commands on deck. You can also upgrade your keyblade and use moogles to create new spells and commands.
Each story takes an average of 10 hours to complete. Its definitely worth the time and money you put in for this game. Its the best KH portable game, and is only behind KH 1 & 2 as far as the entire series goes. So if you are a fan you should definitely pick this up (if you have a PSP). and If you enjoy action RPG's its definitely worth checking out
