surprisingly well worth the wait and on of the most addictive games on GBA to date
User Rating: 9.4 | Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories GBA
Kingdom Hearts Kingdom Hearts:Chain of Memories is a game well worth the price tag it bears. I found it to be one of the most addictive game on the GameBoy Advance out there on the market. The gameplay is highly amazing, and I found myself playing for hours just to try and get to the next part of the story, much like Golden Sun; except with better graphics, except those summons in Golden Sun sure rival Chain of Memories....The graphics, as I mentioned rival those of Golden Sun and if you haven't played Golden Sun or Chain of Memories then for goodness sakes man, buy one of these gorgeous games at least! They are well worth the hole in your wallet. The sounds in the game are almost exact replicas of the sound bits from Kingdom Hearts;the PS2 game. Kingdom Hearts:Chain of Memories, too me and to you is well worth the value of $30 so I gave it a score of 10. And according to other reviewers I am sure they well agree with me once they put their hands on the game and start mashing Heartless to death, they will be corrupted and soon start calling it their........."precious". The gameplay of Kingdom Hearts:Chain of Memories is highly addictive and well make you want to kill more Heartless:your main enemies of whom come in different shapes and sizes. The story is intriguing and you'll find yourself trying to fight more and more just to improve your health or card deck just to kill a boss....Oh yes, the card deck. While this seems to be the only thing others were skeptical about before deciding to buy the game or not, I will state right here and now, that THE CARD SYSTEM DOES NOT INTERFERE WITH THE QUALITY OF THE GAME. The card system in fact seems to make it more enjoyable, and give the game more depth and strategy to it. In Kingdom Hearts you will be introduced to a tutorial fo course, allowing you to learn about the card system, but the main gist of it is clear. Every time you get enough experience points and man if you dont know what experience points are there is no hope for you, you level up.After each leveling up, you get the choice of whether you want to raise your life bar to withstand more heavily damaging attacks or adding points to your card deck. The card points are valuable because it determines how many cards you can take into battle with you, and each card is assigned with a value that determines how many points it takes out of your card deck, which allow you to have a certian amount of cards until you level up again. Well, I have to go so if you want to know more...well, just buy the game. You won't miss out.
