A lot better than anticipated!

Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories is a great game. I didn't start out thinking that way. I originally began playing the GBA version about 2 years ago. I could never get through it. The PS2 version is a much better way to go. Graphics: Well. They do the job, the art design is what you have in the first Kingdom Heats.
Music: See KH1
Gameplay: Didn't like it at first...but then...all of a sudden, I was wishing the other games in the series had such a controlled battle system. I was able to pull of combos I wanted WHEN I wanted. With a little preparation and a lot of strategy this game was very, very fun to play.
I think overall I am quite satisfied with the experience of this game. I prefer it over the GBA version because of the great voice acting and excellent animations. This game has an excellent story and fills in what is missing between KH1 and KH2.
Don't forget the Riku sidequest after. It also fills in a lot of gaps.
Great game and a must play if you love Kingdom Hearts as I do. I would recommend this game to any fan of action adventure who doesn't mind figuring out a very interesting and very, very capable battle system.
