a game that can be frusterating to learn but is so worth the practice.
but after going through it a second time without my action replay i slowly learned the battle system.
gameplay: hard but not impossible to learn with practice
i'll admit it i had trouble on this game the first time around but the second time i fought my way through and built up a card deck of 8s and 9s from basicly scratch, once i had that i was basicly untouchable any enemy slieght could be canceled no matter what combo i used.
after that i sat back wondering why i passed it off as bad, or why i loathed the card system.
sora's side is most defenetly easier and he is customizable, wether your a magic user, a stratigical person, or an attacker like me you can set sora up to best suit your style.
riku on the other hand gets custom decks that you can't do anything with and has to rely on mickey for curing, the bad thing is the only thing that even remotely favors you his dark mode really does not help.
there are times that when in dark mode and around flying enemies you can tap that A button all day and he doesn't jump attack like in normal mode.
riku needs to be removed period, needs to have a cure card, or a deck that you can customize.
graphics: some of the best i've seen and looks very 3d.
it even feels 3d at some parts, the characters have a wide variaty of actions which can be performed in almost every angle.
the characters also are very easy to recognize, and you can pick out who is who easily.
the levels are even customizable, you can make each room big or small, narrow or wide, safe or not safe.
sound: well being most sounds are ripped straight from the game and the organization have no voices i was somewhat disapointed but all sounds are decent but eh.
story: kind of confusing at first but it's worth trying to figure it all out.
at first it's very confusing and you'll wonder what's going on till the order spill all the information about sora.
riku's side is less confusing mostly because you got a basic idea of things through sora's side first. amazingly though i hate playing as riku i like his story of trying to defeat the darkness inside him.
but wether it's toying with memories or going on a kill fest with riku it's always solid and unique from what i know.
overall: a decent game for advance that is always a good way to waste hours.
but voices for the new guys and a few changes on riku would make it so much better.
