One of the last great titles to own on your black box.

With all of the hype around the "next gen" games, it is easy to overlook the solid, time-tested current gen formulas. Kingdom Hearts 2 delivers where everyone wanted it to. It fills in many holes in the plot of Kingdom Hearts. And it gives you the action of well... an action game, with the strategy and personalization of an RPG. It is the combination of these elements that has drawn me to the series. I couldn't have wished for a better sequel to one of my favorite PS2 series.
The graphics will have you asking yourself if you are dreaming. It absolutly takes the PS2 to its limits.
The AI is pretty basic, but it makes up for it in numbers and power. The real novelty is the button mashing goodness of the fighting system. You feel like you can take on the entire army of the enemy. But then a tough boss will have you needing to use strategy.
I think this is a must own for the last wave of great current gen games.
