All I hear is how this game is a "kiddy game". This really grinds my gears. This game is a lot like a Disney film. Younger people are the main audience but they still attract to all ages. Plus the Squaresoft characters gives it a little more appeal to us older people who grew up playing those particular games.

All I can say is that this game is beautiful. Simply gorgeous is what I would go with. Everything about this game is pretty. There is virtually no frame skipping, ever. All of the character models are superb. The backgrounds and scenery are simply stunning. The voice acting is as good as you can get. Sure, some character's voices will not settle well with you but that's like any movie you watch. You can't have everything that you want.

As regards to the Gameplay, this game is quite easy. It is a family oriented game designed to be played by all ages. Of course it will not provide the hardest challenge for the most hardcore gamers. However, it does provide us perfectionist with something to look forward to. Virtually every enemy drops some kind of material used in item/equipment synthesis. Also there are numerous rare item drops just like in any RPG. Also, you can seek to complete the journal provided to you in game. This keeps track of all treasure chests, characters and mini-games in the game. You can also unlock a secret ending if you obtain 100% of the journal.

This game does accomplish the intent of capturing the Disney and Squaresoft spirit. Seeing two of your favorite Square characters talking to each other and fighting side by side is almost priceless. Seeing Disney characters conquer their fears and goals is great. The villains are nothing to put aside either. There are some serious sinister and mean looking enemies that appear in this game.

I know this game did disappoint some people. Mostly the people who think it is to easy. You have to go into this game knowing it is family oriented in order to get everything out of it. To those who think this is a kiddy game: Please do some inner searching. A child should live in each and every one of us.
