Kingdom Hearts 2... even more amazing.

This 2005 release shows the difference in styles between the old Squaresoft (Kingdom Hearts 1) and the new Square Enix) It was a very good start to get off to showing that Enix had what it took to hold the candle to Squaresoft. Kingdom Hearts 2 takes the basic game play of the first game and upgrades the revolutionary free-battle/menu-battle style into a phenomenon that is complex, yet manageable in the heat of battle. You would think that giving the menu so many specs and selections would over complicate things but the placement is perfect giving the controls amazing satisfaction. The story line follows up harmoniously from the first. Things that were left unexplained have been enlightened upon and new mysteries are afoot. The world is so involved even though it is imaginary. Your Final Fantasy style characters get to meet up, team up, and face off against all new, Disney heroes and villains. Kingdom Hearts 2 is not just a Masterpiece of the video game world. I personally consider this the Mona Lisa of my collection.
