Sequels CAN be good!

SquareEnix has done it again! Combining both Square and Disney worlds and creating a enjoyable adventure. Great thing about this game is that you don't necessarily need to play the first one to understand it since the game has a summary of past titles. Although this game isn't as difficult as the first installment, it's still a lot of fun to play. This game will take around 30-40 hours to complete, and this is without including the time you'll spent trying to get the journal completed. Graphics are spot on, with characters from both camps looking exactly like they should. All the backgrounds are very varied and contain a decent amount of detail. The music is, as expected from SquareEnix, is great! A lot of instrumental music and recognizable tunes round up the soundtrack. Utada Hikaru sings the op theme "Sanctuary" but it's not on par with the original Japanese op. Voices are mostly good with the exception of a few Square characters. Controls are great and very easy to get used to. The only bad stuff about KH2 is that the areas were you explore aren't as big as in the first game. What makes them big is the fact that you see a lot of cut scenes and that can be a bit disappointing. Also the game is pretty easy, with the exception of a few cheap boss battlers. Overall great game and a definite buy for PS2!
