This is a clear example of why you simply cannot trust Gamespot's reviews. This game is great. While you may imagine that a cross between Disney and Square will lead to chaos, this game was beautiful. The best thing about this game is the fighting style. This is my favorite fighting style of any RPG. It gives you the freedom to attack your enemies with skill. With enough skill, you can eliminate enemies without them laying a hand on you.
It's fun to see your favorite Disney and Square characters make apperances in this game. For example, Cloud and Sephiroth's apperance actually made me jump.

The story could use a little tweaking. It sort of leaves you with an empty feeling because, whether you like it or not, you are going to be drawn into the story and want to learn more. That's what the sequel's for of course.
I just wish i could shove a keyblade into MIckey's face for always disappearing on me. (It gets annoying..He has the power to kill the enemy that is kicking your butt but instead he decides to leave you.)

Any Squaresoft fan will enjoy this game. It is sort of a guilty pleasure.
