When I first heard of this game in a magazine I thought to myself, "Seriously? That's gonna be lame as hell", but boy was I ever wrong. When my friend brought this game over to my house and I played it for the first time, I was stunned by the depth of the game. Sure it looks stale on the outside, but judging a booking by its cover can sometimes make you miss some of the best things in life. The game play is very good and provides a tutorial for those who aren’t hardcore gamers to get used to the controls. The length of the game is quite long the first time through but you may find that it goes by much quicker the second time around. Replay value is rather good as there are many side-quests and extra mini-games and bosses. The camera is alright, but can prove to be tricky sometimes but it is improved by a simple lock-on system. The game provides enough RPG with items and weapon upgrades to keep you final fantasy fans happy, while giving good action to those who despise turn-based games. There are far more Disney characters in this game than to the Final Fantasy cameos that appear now and then. Abilities add to the combat system so that you are not using the same old combos over and over again. Magic and summoning also help by letting you finish off enemies in different ways. The music in this game is perfect and fits every world greatly, while the story is very deep, although it may seem childish the first time when you are going through a Disney world, but it becomes much darker as you near the end of the game. It is definitely worth the money paid, and is by now very cheap. I highly recommend it and its sequel coming out later this month.
