a revolutionary game with revolutionary aspects
This game's weapons are rather weird, but it all fits into the storyline. For instance, the keyblade, appearing early in the game, but not first, is the only thing that can destroy "Heartless", or enemies that devour the hearts of the living, transforming the living into Heartless. Also, the keyblade has the power to "close the door to a world".
The Heartless, coming across a world such as Destiny Islands, find the door to that world, and infest it, closing the door to a world will clear the world of Heartless until later in the game, after you beat...well, he's got a name, but I'm not gonna spoil it.
With each world comes a new character, with certain exceptions. These characters excel at their world, but they cannot leave it, so if you go to Atlantica, you can't bring Ariel back out.
This game, though freaky and really hard at times, is rather easy to learn and easy to figure out. There's a VERY good storyline involved, and it teaches you to hate the main baddies for stealing all those...never mind, you'll find out when you play it.
