Blend Final Fantasy and Disney into an Action RPG and you'll get magic!

Let me start by saying that Kingdom Hearts is one of my favorite games of all time! It's blend of Final Fantasy and Disney worlds and characters is simply magical and has to be played. The real star of the game is the Disney characters but the Final Fantasy ones makes a excellent supporting cast. The game is a third person action RPG in which you travel from Disney World to Disney World (and the occasional FF theme World) in search of your friends. You'll meet up with Donald Duck and Goofy and help them rescue King Mickey Mouse. The graphics are excellent and the Disney Worlds / Characters look exactly like they should. The animation rarely drops even if some of the bosses you fight are huge. The sound is superb. Everything seems to have been lifted from the movies. All of the Disney characters voice-overs sound exactly like they should. The other non-Disney voice-overs are just as good. The gameplay is your standard Action RPG mixed with a lot of exploring. The camera could use a little it of tweaking and can go crazy at times during fights but that's ok. You have shooter stages between levels which are somewhat decent... but not great. At least, they are really easy. This game should take you around 30 hrs to finish but you can easily push that to 50 if you want to battle all the hidden bosses or find all the hidden items.
So if you love Disney, Final Fantasy or anything that Squaresoft does... you need to check this game out. I'm glad i did!
